Your teacher: D.R. Raghavendra
Carnatic Vocalist · 20+ years of experience
D.R. Raghavendra was born in a Bengaluru family of musicians, the son of Smt. Shashikala and Mridangam Vidwan D. R. Rajagopal. He trained under Vidwan K. V. Raja Iyengar, Vidwan Bangalore T. G. Thayagarajan, Vidwan Kumaresh Rajagopalan, Mridangam Vidwan Sri V. S. Rajagopal and Pandith Smt. Ragini Shankar (Hindustani violin), and is a scholarship holder of the Karnataka Kannada & Culture Department. He has performed at the Thyagaraja Aradhana in Tiruvaiyaru, the Guruvayur Sangeetha Festival, Kala Academy Goa, Mysore Dasara, Nada Neerajanam (TTD Tirumala), Chinmaya Mission Chennai and Isha Foundation Coimbatore. His honours include Best Violinist & Best Guru (Visakhapatnam Music Lovers Association) and the Udayonmukha Pratibhe (Government of Karnataka). With 20+ years of performing and 14+ years of teaching, he is also a Carnatic vocalist in the Mysore Vasudevacharya tradition, an All India Radio empanelled vocalist, and the lead faculty at PSK Foundation®.

Online classes

Individual and group batches, 8 sessions a month, 60 minutes each. Pricing is shared on call.

What age can my child start vocal classes?
All ages are welcome from 5 and above, from beginners to advanced students.
Are there individual and group classes?
Yes. Both individual and group batches are available, 60 minutes a session, 8 sessions a month.
Can I attend a trial class first?
Yes. A 30-minute complimentary demo class includes a voice assessment and sruti check, with no registration fee.
Are online vocal classes available?
Yes. Live classes run on Zoom or Google Meet with the same faculty.
